Review

MetaProducts Mass Downloader is a powerful application for managing Internet downloads, including video and audio streams, FTP directories files, etc. at the maximum speed the connection will allow.

The application supports to resume canceled or user interrupted downloads, as well as multichannel technology, for minimizing the time for downloading the selected files.

The program allows the user to download files from web sites, FTP servers, RealMedia, MS Media servers, stream downloads, etc, supporting the corresponding streaming protocols for each source (HTTP, FTP, HTTPS, RTSP, MMS, MMST protocols), making easy and simple the multimedia files downloads.

It also works as a good Internet browser itself, with a user interface similar to the MS Internet Explorer. ZIP files can be browsed before downloading them, so user can choose which of the contained files to download.

When downloading more than one file at a time, application will manage to get the maximum available bandwith for the present connection.

User can add links to desired files to download by simply using the drag and drop facility, copy and past, copy from clipboard, copy from the Internet Browser, etc. Also, this application will get integrated by itself in the MS Internet Explorer context menu, for making easy the download selection operations.
